Creating Memberships in the Creator Store

Creator Store Memberships allow you to offer exclusive content and benefits to your audience through recurring subscriptions. Below is a streamlined guide to setting up, managing, and publishing a membership.

Step 1: Create a Membership (General Information)

To get started:

  1. Navigate to Products →New Product → Memberships

  2. Click Membership

In the General Information section, you’ll set the foundation of your membership:

  • Title
    Give your membership a clear, compelling name.

  • Description
    Write an overview of what members will receive. This should explain the value of subscribing and briefly outline what each tier includes.

  • Thumbnail image
    Upload a thumbnail that represents your membership. This image appears on your Creator Store page.

Step 2: Set Up Membership Tiers & Pricing

Membership tiers allow you to offer different levels of access for different audiences.

What is a Tier?

A tier is a subscription level within your membership. Each tier can have its own pricing, description, and content access.

Creating Tiers

For each tier:

  • Add a tier name

  • Add an optional description explaining what’s included

  • Choose a billing model (monthly and/or yearly)

  • Set a price

💡 Best practice:

  • Offer at least one accessible tier so more followers can join

  • Consider offering a discounted yearly option to encourage long-term subscriptions

  • Avoid creating too many tiers so each one feels distinct and manageable


Pricing Notes

  • You can change tier pricing at any time

  • Frequent price changes (especially decreases) are not recommended, as they may discourage new subscribers

Step 3: Add Membership Content (Content Material)

The Content Material section is where you add content for your members.

You can:

  • Add text-based content

  • Upload files, media, or other content

  • Upload a thumbnail for each piece of content (optional but recommended)

For each content block, you can:

  • Assign which tiers have access

  • Add a title

  • Update or expand content over time

This section is designed to be revisited regularly as you add new value for your members.

Step 4: Customize Additional Information

The Additional Information section gives you control over the member experience:

  • Custom confirmation emails
    Add a personalized message that subscribers receive after joining.

  • Custom checkout questions
    Ask questions at purchase (for onboarding or personalization).

  • Ratings & testimonials
    Enable or disable reviews for your membership.

  • Zapier integration
    Connect your membership to external tools or workflows.

Step 5: Publish Your Membership

Once everything is set:

  • Review your membership details

  • Click Publish

Your membership will now be live and available for customers to subscribe.

Payments & Billing (Important Notes)

  • Membership payments are recurring and automatic

  • Payments are processed through Stripe

  • Supported payment methods:

    • Visa

    • Mastercard

    • Discover

    • UnionPay

  • “Buy now, pay later” methods are not supported for memberships
