      How to Link and Auto-Post to YouTube

      Auto-Posting to YouTube is available in our Multi-Channel Workspace on the web dashboard and mobile app.

      Planoly Pro Tip: Make sure to link your YouTube to Planoly before you try scheduling an auto-post for YouTube. You will not be able to post to YouTube until it is linked to Planoly.

      How to Link to YouTube

      Multi-Channel Workspace

      1. Log into your Planoly account on web 
      2. From the account switcher, switch into your Multi-Channel Workspace
      3. From the icons at the top, choose YouTube and click on the '+'
      4. A pop-up with show up and from there, click on YouTube from the bottom 
      5. Follow the flow to get linked and make sure the correct account is checked and that all permissions are turned on 
      6. Once you are linked, you should see your YouTube account linked at the top

      Please Note: You can only link a YouTube account via our web dashboard. Once you link a YouTube on web, you will be able to use it on both the web dashboard and mobile app. 

      How to Auto-post to YouTube from the Web Dashboard

      1. Log into your account on web 
      2. Switch into your Multi-Channel Workspace or create a new Multi-Channel Workspace if you do not already have one set up
      3. At the top, click on +New Post
      4. Select YouTube from the icons at the top and choose which video type you want to upload it asScreenshot 2024-03-04 at 11.13.28 AM 
      5. Create your caption, add hashtags, notify subscribers, add a sound URL, and don't forget to select visibility so your content will show on the channel

      6. Select either a date you want to auto-post this or select a date for your reminder notification  auto-post_dropdown-gif-1
      7. Once complete, choose Schedule at the top, and your post will be auto-posted at the scheduled time! 

      How to Auto-post to YouTube from the Mobile App

      1. Log into your account on the mobile app and switch into the Multi-Channel Workspace 
      2. Click on the '+' at the bottom of the screen to add a new post 
      3. Upload your video and choose YouTube from the icons at the top
      4. Create your caption, add hashtags, etc.
      5. Select either a date you want to auto-post this or select a date for your reminder notification              
      6. Once complete, choose Schedule at the bottom, and your post will be auto-posted at the scheduled time! 

      Please Note: Sound URLs cannot be auto-posted on Planoly.
