Auto-Posting to Threads is available in the Multi-Channel Workspace on the web dashboard and mobile app.
How to Link to Threads
Multi-Channel Workspace
- Log into your account on web and switch into your Multi-Channel Workspace
- From the icons at the top, click on the Threads icon to link your account
- A pop-up will show up and from there, click on Link Threads from the bottom
- Follow the flow to get linked
- From there, you can confirm it was linked by seeing it show up in your social icons at the top
How to Auto-Post to Threads from the Web Dashboard
Multi-Channel Workspace
- Log into your Planoly on the web dashboard
- Switch into your Multi-Channel Workspace or create a new Multi-Channel Workspace if you do not already have one set up
- Click on the calendar icon on the left and click on New Post
- Select Threads from the icons at the top
- Create your caption, add hashtags, etc.
- Choose Auto-Post from the dropdown and select a date you want to auto-post this or select a date for your reminder notification if you choose that option
- Once complete, choose Schedule at the top
- Now, you should see your post scheduled on your grid with an auto-post icon and a blue 'S'!
How to Auto-Post to Threads from the Mobile App
Multi-Channel Workspace
- Open up the Planoly mobile app
- Switch into your workspace
- Click on the '+' at the bottom to add a post
- Choose Threads from the top social icons, add your media, caption, hashtags, etc.
- Choose a date and time to schedule the post and toggle on auto-post
- Once your post is ready to go, click on Schedule at the bottom
- You should see your post show up in the grid with a blue 'S' and a paper airplane on it to show that it has been successfully scheduled for auto-post!
