Where Do I Find My Tax Forms for Creator Store?
Learn where to access your tax forms and how Stripe or PayPal provides the documents you’ll need for reporting your Creator Store earnings.
Does Creator Store provide tax forms (like a 1099)?
Creator Store does not issue tax forms such as a 1099.
Planoly serves as the platform that hosts your storefront and helps you manage your products and sales. However, all payments are processed through third party providers.
Where do I get my tax forms?
Your tax documents are provided by the payment platform you use to receive payouts:
- Stripe → Provides forms such as 1099-K (if you meet their reporting thresholds)
- PayPal → Also provides 1099-K and transaction reports when applicable
You’ll need to log into your Stripe or PayPal account directly to access these documents.
How do I find my tax documents?
Stripe:
- Log into your Stripe Express/Standard account
- Go to Settings or Tax Forms
- Download your available tax documents
PayPal:
- Log into your PayPal account
- Go to Reports or Statements & Tax Center
- Download your tax forms or transaction history
What if I don’t see a 1099?
If you don’t see a 1099 form, it may be because you did not meet the minimum reporting threshold required by Stripe or PayPal for your region.
In that case, you can still:
- Export your transaction history
- Use it to report your income manually when filing taxes
Can I calculate or add taxes to my products?
Yes. Creator Store allows you to:
- Add and customize tax rates (VAT, Sales Tax, GST)
- Adjust rates based on your customer’s location
- Include taxes directly in your invoices
Important Note
Creators are responsible for:
- Tracking their own income
- Filing taxes in accordance with local regulations
- Consulting a tax professional if needed
