Platform Changes Overview: Effective December 4, 2024, Meta is updating Instagram's third-party app connections. Planoly has adapted to these changes to provide you with the most seamless social media management experience possible.

What's Changing?

  • Personal Instagram accounts will no longer be supported for user with third-party apps, including Planoly. 
  • For the first time, Business and Creator accounts can now auto-post without requiring a Facebook page.
  • Simplified account linking process
  • Convert your personal Instagram account to a Creator, or Business, account during linking

What this means for you

If you currently use a personal Instagram account with Planoly:

  • Switch to a Business or Creator account to enable auto-posting and continue using Planoly's full features. 
  • Unlink your personal account if you prefer not to switch. Posts scheduled for auto-posting will automatically convert to reminder notifications.
